A week that crosses three very different landscapes. Begin in dry northern Samburu, move to the Rift Valley, and finish on the plains of the Mara.
Lodges are at the upper end of what we offer. A flight between parks is possible if you would rather save time on the road.

Itinerary
Day 1
Nairobi to Samburu
Travel north, crossing the equator, to Samburu. Take a late-afternoon game drive along the river.

Samburu
Look for Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, beisa oryx and gerenuk, as well as elephants and lions along the Ewaso Ng’iro River.

Day 4
Samburu to Lake Nakuru
Drive south through the highlands to Lake Nakuru. Visit the rhino sanctuary in the late afternoon.

Lake Nakuru to the Maasai Mara
After breakfast, travel by road to the Mara and reach camp in time for a game drive.
