Tsavo East and West

Vast wilderness, red-dust elephants and the clear pools of Mzima Springs.

Tsavo is Kenya’s largest park, split into East and West. Tsavo East is flat and wide, and its elephants are often coated in red dust. Tsavo West is more varied, with hills, lava flows and Mzima Springs.

Both sit between Nairobi and the coast, so they combine well with a beach stay.

  • Red-dust elephants in Tsavo East
  • Mzima Springs in Tsavo West
  • Open, uncrowded landscapes
